Such a tough day, overwhelmed by sad posts. What to write to do justice to the complexity and talent of my amazing friend, taken from us far too soon? Dear John, 40 years on we all miss you so much. Although you were no angel, we know you will be charming, entertaining and serenading the upstairs gallery in your own crazy way. Forever loved and missed by the millions you left behind, millions more who weren’t even born yet and of course by me, "Helloon", for the youthful memories of music, art, fun and laughter.
